garden ideas

My friend and neighbor Bonnie snapped this gorgeous garden picture in good ole Tompkins Square Park…

gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.

Echinacea or Cone Flowers… they come in seven different varieties and I am going to go mad planting as many as I can to fill in the flower garden after the peonies and bee balm have had their day.  So pretty.

They reseed really quickly too. I didn’t plant any new ones yet they’re all over my garden this year. Don’t cut them down at the end of the season. Leave the flowerheads for the birds to pick at in the winter and you’ll find lots of seedlings popping up next year!
