Okay Okay, I talk about pizza a lot, so sue me, or at least thank me when you’re wondering what to grill this weekend, here my friends is something just fiendishly good. We wanted to grill but didn’t have really anything to put on it after a quick rummage around in the fridge I pulled out an assortment of ingredients whilst Mr Weiss set about getting the grill going.

We split our Trader Joes Pizza dough in two and each went about our merry way making our own individual pie’s and I seized the perfect opportunity to shove a mountain of anchovies on top of mine… otherwise the usual pizza suspects came out, parmesan, ricotta, pesto, homemade tomato sauce, sauteed garlic and onions, olives, crushed red pepper flakes, fresh herbs.

next the dough… we used light oiled tin foil to spread the dough on…

next toppings…

next when the grill is ready, we have a thermometer on ours and it was registering about 350F so not super hot and we were worried it wouldn’t be hot enough..

but our pizza’s cooked in about 25 mins, we rotated half way through to evenly brown the bottoms…

Yowza! these turned out better than we had thought they would… so what are ya waiting for…go fire up that grill!

    We love pizza on the grill. We use Naan for the crust, which is just delicious!!! Have you tried hot garlic with jalapeno peppers in oil as an addition? Talk about delish!!! I’m thoroughly in love with this. You can find it on an olive bar at Whole Foods. Yummo….
