the kids

I thought it’s about time to introduce you to my adorable children…. I love them all equally… WHAT? who am I kidding I am completely biased, I do play favorites and NO not all are created equal!!

May I introduce my #1 child..

camera5

yip I put this kid above and beyond all others… she can do no wrong… look how beautiful..

camera4

chrome and tan leather, I have twins actually, one is kept as a back up in case my first lady goes kaputo one day.  They like to be fed Time Zero (fat chance since this is long gone), 600, 779 (still both available).

Second in command…

camera6

ahh my go to gal… although she was acting a little weird the other day, so when I was out and about eyeballing the local junk shops I stumbled upon her stand in for when she’s being difficult…

camera7

$10 bucks and she joined the family… still with an old packet of film inside, an instruction manual and in pristine condition, although she doesn’t have an sonar focus its all manual so I end up with more blurry images until I really get the hang of the feet/meter settings…

this grand dame I have had for eons…

camera3

she got me interested in Polaroid transfers with her sexy accordion style and film types 667 and 669

camera2

which brings us to the grunt thug of the family, seriously I could probably drop kick this one and it would be totally fine, introducing the workhorse of the family…

camera1

actually this is my second spectra, right after I won on ebay 25 boxes of spectra film for $100 bucks, my original spectra’s shutter button fell off! annoying, but I picked up this one on ebay for $13.25

and that just leaves the baby… pee wee

camera

not a polaroid, but just because he’s soooo cute, film type 127.. umm I don’t think I got a shit show in hell getting this… unless anyone out there knows different?

So that’s it, the raggedy cast of characters, they keep me fairly entertained and as a parent I say it’s totally okay to play favorites, nothing like some healthy competition between siblings! haha

127 film – color and black & white are available from B&H Photo. 9th Avenue in NYC, Sorry I don’t remember the cross street.
I have an old Brownie Holiday. How happy I was when I went to B&H and found they still carried the film. They also have 120 film, another hard to find, especially up here in the Catskills.
If you’ve never been to B&H you are going to love the experience. Enjoy – Leni
