a book idea

The United Methodist Church in Roxbury, is a treasure trove of slogans…. is it a nutty priest with a wry sense of humor? or does the clergy dish out a book of these gems? I want to know AND I want to compile a book based on these, what do you think?

I like what it said on the flip side…See other side! A book idea I had once was interviewing people with the question…”Life is too short to…”. My first entry would have been: Life is too short to eat plain bagels! Have a great DRY weekend.

He probably takes suggestions from his clergy after his weekly sermons. Otherwise he’s just one clever guy,’cause they’re pretty good. There’s a church on Rt. 17 in Bethel that does this too. That’s what makes me wonder if there’s a Methodist book of anecdotes that they pull these from. It’s still cool to see them on the roadsides. Would make a good photojournal.

The methodist church in my neck of the woods also has a sign with quirky slogans. I think it must be a ‘thing.’

there are a couple of books compiled already! I used to work in a public library, and got two titles via Inter-Library Loan for a patron.

oops, I forgot to say: I think the ones I got for my patron were “701 sentence sermons : attention-getting quotes for church signs, bulletins, newsletters, and sermons” and “701 more sentence sermons” – they were great fun.

I can already see your book on my coffee table!! An interview with the dude would be great! Even if is already a “thing”,you could mac book it.
