I got this out of the July Bon Appetit Magazine… I love Za’atar and it was great on grilled chicken, so great I was too busy eating it to take a finished shot. Sorry!
1 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
1 tbsp sumac
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp fresh ground pepper.
Combine. Slap on, so far I’ve had it on chicken, steak and tofu. All great!
